An ex-patient turned on Phillips, claiming that he was the cause of his persistent back pain

"I was driving out of town the day after Dr. Phillips was kidnapped. In my mind, Dr. Phillips was saying to God, "Hey, send him a little sign that everything's going to be okay," and I can't help but believe it "Wixted made the statement.

As a result of his arrest, he now faces a $100,000 bond for making terroristic threats.
