How did Brad Johnson die? 'Melrose Place' star, 62, always put family first
What was the cause of death for Brad Johnson? It was always family first for "Melrose Place" star 62
Linda McAlister, Brad Johnson's representative, confirmed to 'THR' that the 'Melrose Place' actor died on February 18, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas, as a result of Covid-19 complications. When a casting director was looking for cowboys to star in beer commercials, he came across Johnson, a local kid from Tucson who was born in 1959. Soon, he was dubbed "Marlboro Man" and landed Calvin Klein modelling jobs.
His first starring role was on a CBS episode of "Dallas" in 1986, when he was just 17 years old. A Guy Named Joe and Flight of the Intruder were two of the films that paved the way for him to get his big break. Ned Blessing: The Story of My Life and Times' and 'Melrose Place' were two of the many roles he landed in 1993 and 1996, respectively, as a paediatrician in 'Melrose Place'. Johnson's final role was slated for 2021' Treasure Valley,' but production was halted following the death of his friend and fellow actor-writer Jay Pickett in the same year.
At one point, Johnson sold ranch real estate in North Texas while restoring antique Winchester Model 1886 rifles. His children Shane, Bellamy, Rachel, Eliana, Eden, Rebekah, Annabeth, and William survive him, as does his wife Laurie. "Although he was taken too early, he lived life to the fullest and taught his children to do the same," his family said in a statement. Brad relished the challenge of enhancing land while preserving its natural splendour. He was happiest when he was out in nature, as evidenced by his devotion to the land. Brad loved nothing more than spending time with his family, despite his passion for cowboying, hunting, and the outdoors.
Who is Laurie Johnson, Brad Johnson's wife?
Before Johnson's death, he had been married to Laurie for nearly 30 years. In a small ceremony in 1986, the couple married and had eight children. Johnson Land and Home, LLC, a company specialising in luxury destination property investment, acquisition, development, and marketing, is said to have been founded and run by Laurie. Laurie and her children will now be in charge of the family business.
Because they've avoided the limelight for so long, not much is known about her or the kids. Then again, she has attended some of Johnson's red-carpet events. Although her exact date of birth is unknown, it is widely accepted that she was born in 1962 and is currently 60 years old. Shane, the oldest, and William, the youngest, are the sons of Laurie and Brad. Bellamy married Brian Olomon, Rachel married Layne Ellis, Eliana married Jordan Williams, and Eden married Dylan Gressett, their children. We don't know what they do for a living, when they were born, or how much money they make.
